What is  Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)? A CDP is an individual who is Certified to work with persons that have been diagnosed with Dementia/Alzheimer.

What are the steps in becoming a CDP?

• Take the 7 hour Alzheimer and Dementia Care Seminar (fee varies)
• Complete the NCCDP application to become a CDP 
• Submit all required documents including your certificate of attendance in the seminar 
• Submit your application within 30days of completing the CDP seminar
• NCCDP make the final decision to be a CDP

What is the cost of becoming a CDP?

• The fee for the Alzheimer and Dementia Care Seminar varies, MJD offer the seminar for $165 per person with discounts in certain circumstances
